How to get to Vaxholm

BY BOAT

The ferry to Vaxholm departs regularly from Strömkajen in Stockholm. For timetables and ticket information, visit sl.se. Also available as an app.

It is not possible to book a seat, just turn up at the port/jetty and board the boat. Normally, there is room for everyone who wants to travel. On days with fine weather, it is advisable to be at the port/jetty well ahead of departure.

BY BUS

By car, it takes approximately 40 minutes to reach Vaxholm from Stockholm.
